Sorry about the weird audio issue and lack of editing, I wanted to get this up as quickly as possible.

TL;DW: You get a skill point from each level and each Place of Power you find.

You can easily get more skills than you can equip at one time, so get early game skills from the General branch.

Pick an armor skill for a huge early boost. Make sure you wear the right armor!

Snag the Focus skill since you don’t use adrenaline in early game.
Get utility skills first, damage doesn’t scale much until later when you combine skills. Arrow Deflection, Resolve, Fleet Footed, Melt Armor, Exploding Shield, Active Shield, Magic Trap, Acquired Tolerance.

Group skills of the same color together, and match the mutagen to them. Multiplies mutagen up to 4 times!
